Safety Tips - How to Cross Safely, Danger Zones, Weather

When leaving the bus, be sure to use the handrail.
Before stepping onto the pavement, be sure to look both ways for vehicles and other danger.

Walk out past the front of the bus (10 to 15 feet) until you can see the driver and the driver can see you.

Proceed to the middle of the road and, once again, stop and look both ways for vehicles and other dangers. If none are present, proceed to cross and go directly to your home safely away from the road.
