Notice to all Vendors:
Please note that beginning October 1, 2015 we will be updating our vendor records. You MUST send a letter on company letterhead requesting to be added to the bid list. This must be done in order to receive solicitations for bids. We will not accept faxed or emailed copies. 
Vendors must register with the Purchasing Office in order to receive solicitations to bid. To register, please send a letter on your company letter head detailing the products and/or services your company provides. Be sure to include all addresses, points of contact, phone numbers, and email addresses where you would want the solicitations to be sent to. The vendor is responsible for updating contact information with the Purchasing Department. Vendors will be removed from the list if they do not reply to three consecutive bids in their product category.

Tips for doing business with Albertville City Schools
1.       Be sure your company’s name is on the bid list with the correct class/sub-classes. Keep your application current with any changes.
2.       Read the bid document thoroughly and follow all instructions, terms and conditions. Failure to do so will be the bidder’s risk.
3.       Be sure bid is submitted in or before the receive date and time. Be sure the envelope shows the bid number and open date.
4.       Attend bid openings, if possible, to see what the competition is doing, since results are not given over the phone or in writing.
5.       Ask questions.
