Hello, I am the media specialist at APS. I have been a classroom teacher at APS for 16 years. This is my first year as the media specialist and I am loving my new role! 

I have an elementary education degree from Jacksonville State University and I earned my Masters in Library Media from The University of West Alabama. 

My husband's name is Chris and we have three children: Erah Kate, Callen, and Tyden. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, relaxing, and cheering on my children in their activities. 

I love working at APS and getting to know all the students as they visit the library.

    Our students have library class once each week where they have a 30 minute lesson. They will come with their classroom teacher during the week to check out library books. Students  also have many opportunities to come to the library throughout the week during Flex time (or Open Access).
