Albertville City Schools is encouraging anyone interested in becoming a substitute in our school system to apply with Spur Staffing. Substitutes are needed for:

Teachers
Aides
Secretaries
Cafeteria Workers
Custodians

The Spur recruiting team will correspond with you. Following that, you will download the Spur app on your device and complete the required steps. A background check is required, and if you are applying to be a substitute teacher, you will need a substitute teacher's license as well. The process for both of those is outlined below.

Becoming a Substitute

Create an AIM account and/or an ALSDE ID for the first time. You will need your ALSDE ID for the application and background check.
Complete your Substitute License Application and pay the application fee. Please keep a copy of the receipt.
Complete your background check and pay the fee. Please keep a copy of the receipt.
Bring your completed Substitute License Application, a copy of the application fee receipt and background check receipt, along with your driver's license and a transcript showing your highest level of education completed to the ACS Central Office at 8379 U.S. Highway 431, Albertville, AL 35950.
