Biography
Dr. Bart Reeves has served as Superintendent of Albertville City Schools since 2023.
His career in education spans 28 years. From 2021-2023, Dr. Reeves served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Alabama Association of School Boards.
Prior to that, Dr. Reeves served as:
- Superintendent of Satsuma City Schools from 2018-2021.
- Principal of Jasper High School from 2017-2018.
- Superintendent of Jackson County Schools from 2015-2016.
- Principal, assistant principal and teacher in Guntersville City Schools from 1998-2015.
He is a four-time graduate of the University of Alabama.

- M.S. in Administration (2001)
- B.S. in Secondary Education Social Science (1996)
Dr. Reeves is married to Amy Rollins Reeves. The two met as teachers at Guntersville Middle School in 2000. Mrs. Reeves is a National Board Certified Teacher and taught 12 years before making the decision to stay at home with their children. She graduated from the University of Alabama with both her bachelor and master’s degrees in mathematics.
Dr. and Mrs. Reeves resides in Albertville, and they have three children – John Whit, Hadley, and Harper – who all attend Albertville City Schools.
