Welcome to the AMS Library!
Our middle school library is a vibrant space where seventh and eighth grade students can explore a wide range of reading materials, strengthen research skills and develop critical thinking. Led by Librarian Ashley Burns, students learn to navigate both print and digital resources, conduct research projects and select books that match their interests and reading level. The library is open daily from 7:40 a.m. - 3 p.m., and classes visit regularly for lessons, book checkout and independent reading opportunities. The mission of the Albertville City Schools Media and Library Services Program is to enable all patrons to become productive 21st century citizens through information literacy and to encourage a positive attitude towards reading. The program will facilitate the effective access, analysis, assimilation and use of information.
