Welcome to the APS Library!
Our school library is a welcoming place where first and second grade students can explore new stories, practice important reading skills and discover books that match their growing interests. With the support of Librarian Holley Sparks, students learn how to choose books, use library resources and build confidence as independent readers. The library is open daily from 8-11 a.m. and 12-2:30 p.m., and each class visits regularly to enjoy read aloud, activities and browsing time. To see when your child's class visits the library, please check out our APS Library Schedule.
The library is located at 1100 Horton Road, Albertville, Alabama 35950. To contact the library, please email Ms. Sparks at holleysparks@albertk12.org or call (256) 878-6611.
The mission of the Albertville City Schools Media and Library Services Program is to enable all patrons to become productive 21st century citizens through information literacy and to encourage a positive attitude towards reading. The program will facilitate the effective access, analysis, assimilation and use of information.
