Annual Budget Information
The Albertville City Board of Education adopts a budget that summarizes all planned programs, providing an annual plan for coordinating the revenue and expenditures generated from state, federal, local and other funding sources. It is prepared as a tool to allocate resources to programs and services that achieve the mission and goals defined by The Albertville City Board of Education that best serve the students' needs.
The budget process is designed to encourage site-based management with input from the system’s personnel, students, parents, and community leaders. Two budget hearings are held each year before the board adopts the final budget to be sent to the Alabama State Department of Education. The adopted budget operates from Fiscal year October 1 - September 30.
