My name is Melia Minor and I am a Pre-K teacher at AKPK. This is my 16th year teaching Pre-K, but I have been with the school system for almost 21 years. Before teaching Pre-K, I was a substitute teacher, worked on Extended Day, and ran our Summer Camp program. I have been married to Justin Minor since 2008. While we do not have any children of our own, I sure love all my school children so very much. Pre-K is where my heart is and I love being able to be a child's first teacher to so many students each year. Watching them learn and grow as they prepare for Kindergarten is so rewarding.
