Albertville FCCLA Hosts Reindeer Dash, Proceeds to Benefit The Maker’s Child

ALBERTVILLE – The Albertville High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) organization will host a Reindeer Dash Christmas Carnival on Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The event will be held at the Albertville High School track, lunchroom and bus loop. All proceeds will benefit The Maker’s Child. 

There will be craft booths set up at the event, along with carnival games, Bingo and food and coffee vendors. There will also be a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Clause and photobooth opportunities. 

As part of the carnival, there will be a one-mile fun run/walk. Participants can pick up t-shirts starting at 9 a.m. and will line up in their age groups at 9:30 a.m. The Reindeer Dash will begin at 10 a.m. 

The cost to participate in the fun run is $20 per person and includes a t-shirt. There is also a reindeer run herd option that includes three t-shirts and fun run registrations. T-shirts are available to purchase for those who choose not to run for $15.

Parking will be available at the Albertville High School gym or in front of the AHS Fine Arts Center and Kinesiology building.
